What is insured?
Has your access data been stolen and has money been debited from your account? With the online account protection, you are insured against financial losses as a result of fraudulent use of your accounts, cards and mobile end devices.
Who is insured?
The insurance covers the cardholders (primary card and additional card), their spouse or partner or registered civil partner living in the same household and children under the age of 25 who are entitled to support, provided they live in the same household or are resident in Switzerland.
What are the prerequisites for insurance protection?
The following prerequisites must be met for the insurance to provide cover:
- The account, card or mobile device must belong to the insured person.
- The insured person has incurred financial losses as a result of the theft of personal access data, unauthorised access to or fraudulent use of means of payment as well as mobile end devices.
How high are the insured sums?
The following maximum insured sum applies per event:
- CHF 10'000
- There is no policy excess.
